Job summary

MyEyeDr is seeking an Optometric Technician to assist Doctors of Optometry by preparing patients for exams, conducting preliminary tests, and documenting medical history. You’ll learn pretest procedures and assist with screenings, with training provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to understand basic math.
• Personable with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients and document medical history for the exam.
• Maintain smooth flow of patients to the Doctor and staff during appointments.
• Ensure patients are comfortable with procedures they will undergo.
• Learn to operate pretest equipment for visual screenings.
• Conduct contact lens training for applicable patients and other preliminary testing.
• Collaborate with doctors and team to ensure a seamless patient experience.
