Job summary

EyeCare Partners in the United States seeks an Optometric Technician to support exam preparation and a world-class Total Patient Experience. You will operate ophthalmic testing equipment and assist doctors and staff in a busy clinical setting.

The role requires a high school diploma, customer service experience, HIPAA awareness, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Travel between locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a medical office environment preferred.
• Ability to interact with patients and provide excellent service.
• Must be able to pass background check and provide proof of work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Embrace and execute our Total Patient Experience to build relationships with all patients while delivering great medical support.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures including HIPAA.
• Operate ophthalmic testing equipment (lensometer, autorefractor, keratometer, retinal camera, visual field, GDX or OCT).
• Follow scripting for testing equipment and patient testing.
• Assist with general office duties and maintain a clean work environment.
• Commit to schedule that may include weekends and extended hours.
