Job summary

EyeCare Partners is seeking an Optometric Technician to support doctors and staff in delivering a world-class Total Patient Experience. You will assist with initial testing using optical equipment and help prepare patients for exams with an Optometrist.

The role requires interaction with patients, adherence to HIPAA, and a strong team-oriented mindset. Office duties and occasional travel to other locations may be involved.

Qualifications

• Previous medical office experience preferred; ophthalmic experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year in a role interacting with customers/patients or equivalent.
• Background check as required by state; proof of identity and right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Embrace the Total Patient Experience and provide medical support.
• Operate lensometers, autorefractor/keratometer, retinal camera, visual field, OCT.
• Follow testing scripts and maintain equipment cleanliness.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and professional conduct at all times.
• Perform general office duties as assigned by the manager.
