AEG Vision is seeking an Optometric Technician to support Optometrists and provide exceptional patient care. You will conduct pre-testing procedures, assist with diagnostic testing, and manage the doctor’s schedule to ensure efficient patient experiences.

Qualifications

• High School or GED is required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• PC skills include MS Office and basic computer literacy.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to collaborate with staff and patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform preliminary evaluations and pre-testing procedures before the exam.
• Assist Optometrist with specialty diagnostic testing and post-exam tasks.
• Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA and company policies.
• Manage doctor appointment schedules and patient recall communications.
• Handle end-of-day wrap-up tasks and maintain practice cleanliness.
