Job summary

MyEyeDr is seeking an Optometric Technician to support Doctors of Optometry by preparing patients for visits, including preliminary testing and measurements. Training will be provided to learn pretest equipment and vision screenings. You will help manage patient flow, ensure comfort during procedures, and assist with contact lens training.

Weekend/evening shifts may be required. This role offers a path to grow within a collaborative vision-care team and contribute to delivering best-in-class

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Personable and patient with patients during screening.
• Detail-oriented with ability to work closely with Optometrist.
• Willingness to learn about optometry industry, products, and services.
• Collaborative team member focused on best patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients and document medical history for the exam.
• Maintain smooth flow of patients to the Doctor.
• Ensure patient comfort with office procedures.
• Learn to use pretest equipment and perform visual screenings.
• Conduct contact lens training for applicable patients.
• Collaborate with doctors and team for seamless patient experience.
