Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking an Optometric Technician to work closely with our optometrists. You will assist with pre-testing, data collection, and training for contact lens insertion/removal, ensuring efficient flow through the eye exam process in our Berkeley stores.

The role requires compassionate patient care, strong teamwork, and the ability to learn new medical applications quickly. You will support the store team and contribute to a compliant, high-quality patient experience.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong multitasking and organizational abilities to manage appointments and patient flow.
• Comfort with technology and quick learning of medical applications.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between doctor and patient to build rapport.
• Perform preliminary data collection (autorefraction, visual acuity, eye pressure, etc.).
• Support in-person and video-assisted eye exams as available.
• Train new staff on insertion/removal training for contact lenses.
