Job summary

AEG Vision in the United States is seeking an Optometric Technician to support doctors, perform pre-exam testing, and help manage patient flow to deliver high-quality care.

You will conduct preliminary evaluations, assist with diagnostic testing, maintain patient records in EHR, and ensure HIPAA compliance while delivering friendly, efficient service. This full-time role comes with benefits including retirement, health, vision, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High School or GED qualification.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• PC skills to include MS Office and Windows.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-exam evaluations and prepare patients for the optometrist.
• Assist with diagnostic testing and manage the doctor’s schedule.
• Maintain patient records in EHR and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Support post-exam tasks and communicate with patients as needed.
• Contribute to a clean, organized practice environment.
