Job summary

MyEyeDr. is hiring an Optometric Technician to support Doctors of Optometry, performing preliminary testing and measurements. No optical experience needed—training and tools are provided to learn to deliver a best-in-class vision care experience.

Some weekend and evening shifts required. You will document patient history, help manage patient flow, and assist with pretest equipment and contact lens training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to understand basic math.
• Willingness to learn optical/medical terminology.
• Prior healthcare or optical background preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors with patient prep and preliminary testing.
• Document medical history and conditions.
• Maintain smooth patient flow between appointments.
• Learn to operate pretest equipment.
• Provide contact lens training where applicable.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure high-quality patient care.
