MyEyeDr. is seeking an Optometric Technician to support Doctors of Optometry with preliminary testing and measurements, preparing patients for exams, and ensuring a smooth flow during visits. Training will be provided, even for applicants without optical experience.

You will learn to operate pretest equipment, assist with vision screenings, and help deliver a best-in-class patient experience. Weekend and some evenings are required.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required and ability to perform basic math.
• Personable and patient with patients during screening.
• Willingness to learn about optics, products and services.

Mansioni

• Consult with patients, document conditions and medical history for prep of exam.
• Maintain smooth patient flow to the Doctor and staff during appointments.
• Ensure patient comfort with office procedures during visits.
• Learn to use pretest equipment for visual screenings.
• Conduct contact lens training for applicable patients and preliminary testing.
• Collaborate with doctors and team for a seamless patient experience.
