Qualifications

• Experience evaluating patients for eye exams and dispensing medications.
• Familiarity with medical terms related to eye treatment.
• Experience maintaining patient records per HIPAA regulations.
• Industry certification such as CPO, CPOA, or CPOT.

Responsibilities

• Perform preliminary testing and assist with specialty diagnostic testing.
• Manage doctor’s appointment schedule for efficient visits.
• Record and maintain patient records in EHR per policies.
• Assist with refractions and post-exam tasks as needed.
• Provide patient education and support throughout visits.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the practice areas.
