You will assist during eye exams, collect medical history, input data in the CIAO system, review prescriptions, and maintain patient records in HIPAA-compliant fashion.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year strong customer service skills (internal/external).

Responsibilities

• Greet patients promptly with a smile and maintain a professional image.
• Answer the telephone in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Assist the optometrist during eye examinations and prepare patients for exams.
• Review prescriptions and patient information carefully; identify special needs and consult as needed.
• Input patient data, insurance information and eye care services in the CIAO system with accuracy.
• Maintain patient records in a HIPAA-compliant manner and support exam scheduling and follow-ups.
