Job summary

LensCrafters Clinic in Raleigh, NC, seeks a Full-Time Optometric Technician to assist the optometrist during eye examinations and support the patient experience from check-in through follow-up outreach.

Deliver high-quality eye care, maintain patient records securely, and collaborate with retail and clinical teams to link doctor services with store operations. Prior experience in healthcare or retail optics is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Display a professional image, greet patients promptly with a smile.
• Answer the telephone promptly in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Assist the optometrist in eye examinations and prepare patients for exam.
• Review prescriptions and patient information for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain patient records securely in compliance with HIPAA.
• Input patient data and insurance information into the system with accuracy.
• Support retention and cultivation of exams including outreach calls.
• Maintain inventory and cleanliness of the exam rooms and contact lens area.
• Assist retail functions as capacity and patient demand allows.
