AEG is hiring an Optometric Technician to support optometrists with patient care and education. You will conduct pre‑testing, assist with specialty diagnostic testing, and help manage the doctor’s schedule to ensure efficient patient flow.

Responsibilities include documenting findings in EHR, communicating with patients, and performing post‑exam tasks. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Competenze

• Experience evaluating patients for eye exams and dispensing eye exam medications.
• Familiarity with medical terms associated with eye treatment.
• Industry certification (CPO, CPOA, CPOT).

Mansioni

• Perform pre-exam evaluations and assist with specialty diagnostic testing.
• Schedule referrals and manage appointment workflow for efficiency.
• Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with HIPAA and policies.
• Respond to patient inquiries regarding medications and treatment plans.
• Assist with diagnostic testing and document findings in EHR.
• Support end-of-day procedures and ensure smooth operation of the front desk.
