Job summary

AEG Vision seeks an Optometric Technician to support Optometrists and ensure exceptional patient care from start to finish. You will perform pre-testing, assist with diagnostic testing, and help manage the doctor’s schedule to provide efficient service.

Responsibilities include maintaining patient records in EHR, completing related paperwork, and coordinating referrals when needed, while upholding HIPAA standards and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Experience evaluating patients for eye exams and dispensing medications.
• Certifications: CPO, CPOA, CPOT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-testing procedures and assist with specialty diagnostic testing.
• Schedule appointments and manage the doctor’s calendar.
• Record patient data in EHR and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Assist with clerical duties and care coordination as needed.
