AEG Vision is seeking an Optometric Technician to support Optometrists in delivering high-quality patient care. You will perform pre-testing, assist with diagnostic testing, and manage the doctor’s schedule to ensure a smooth patient experience.

The role requires handling patient records under HIPAA, effective communication with patients, and collaboration with the optometry team to maintain clinic efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Strong attention to detail in fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively with team and patients.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-testing procedures before exams (dilations, diagnostics).
• Assist with specialty diagnostic testing and post-exam tasks.
• Manage doctor appointment schedules for efficient patient flow.
• Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA and documentation standards.
• Respond to patient inquiries regarding medications and treatment.
