Job summary

LensCrafters seeks an Optometric Technician to deliver the LensCrafters Experience with top-tier eye care. You will greet patients, assist the optometrist during exams, take medical history, and help connect doctor and retail functions throughout the patient journey.

You will maintain patient records per HIPAA, support retention calls, place contact lens orders, input data in the CIAO system with fees, and keep the exam lanes, contact lens area, and inventory organized and safe.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and present a professional image
• Answer calls promptly with courtesy
• Assist the optometrist during eye exams and obtain medical history
• Review prescriptions and patient information; consult as needed
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient records
• Support retention and exam follow-up calls
• Manage contact lens orders and inventory
• Enter prescription and service data in CIAO system
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment
• Assist with inventory and retail capacity as needed
