Job summary

VisionWorks is seeking a Clinical Specialist/Optometric Assistant in Londonderry, NH for part-time work. The role involves preparing patients for examinations, performing pre-testing, and explaining procedures.

Qualifications

• One (1) year of related experience required or preferred.
• Optical or Healthcare background preferred.
• Medical office/business professionalism required.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for onsite and remote examinations and explain each step of the process.
• Assist onsite doctor with eye examinations and document results in EMR.
• Support remote eye exams including testing and video conferencing documentation.
• Transition patients to a retail associate with doctor recommendations.
• Maintain patient records according to Company standards.
• Instruct patients on contact lens care and handling.
