VisionWorks is seeking a Clinical Specialist/Optometric Assistant for part-time support. You will help prepare patients for onsite or remote eye exams, conduct pre-testing, and explain procedures while documenting results in the EMR.

The role interfaces between patients and Optometrists to guide the patient journey. Responsibilities include supervising remote eye exams, coordinating with retail staff, and ensuring accurate insurance preauthorizations.

Qualificações

• One year of related experience in optical/healthcare settings.
• Medical office professionalism required.
• HS diploma, GED, or equivalent related job experience.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare patients for exam (on-site or remote) and complete pre-exam tests.
• Explain steps of the process and document results in EMR.
• Assist onsite doctor and manage remote eye exam workflow.
• Coordinate with retail staff for appointments and patient flow.
• Instruct on contact lens care and manage orders.
