VisionWorks is seeking a Clinical Specialist/Optometric Assistant to prepare patients for onsite and remote examinations, perform pre-exam tests, and explain each step of the process. You will liaise between patients and Optometrists and assist with the initial steps of the patient journey.

The role is part-time with pay ranging from $18 to $27 per hour. It may involve travel between locations and working flexible schedules to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• One year of related experience in optical or healthcare settings.
• Optical or healthcare background preferred.
• Medical office professionalism required.
• Training provided.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations and collect pre-exam data.
• Explain testing steps and document results in EMR.
• Assist onsite and remote eye exams and coordinate with doctors.
• Transition patients to retail associates with care guidance.
• Maintain patient records according to company standards.
