Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking a licensed dispensing optician to join our in-house optical team in Dallas, TX. You will take measurements, fit eyewear, and ensure eyewear meets our optical standards while explaining prescription terminology to customers.

As a team member, you will help customers choose frames, collaborate on best practices, and represent our brand and values through exceptional service. This full-time role offers benefits and career growth.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license.
• ABO-certified optician or equivalent state certification.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to help meet all of their eyewear needs
• Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with accuracy
• Check that eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers
• Collaborate with the team to ensure exceptional service
• Help customers choose frames and lenses based on prescription and lifestyle
• Contribute to best practices for sales and service across the organization
• Represent the Warby Parker brand and values to educate others
