Warby Parker is seeking skilled Opticians to join our in-house optical team. You will help customers with eyewear needs, take measurements, fit frames, and ensure quality while explaining prescriptions.

This role emphasizes customer service, product knowledge, and teamwork to uphold our standards and brand values. You must be a licensed dispensing optician (or ABO-certified where required) with a passion for eyewear and retail.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician in licensed states (or ABO-certified optician in non-licensing states).
• Passionate about eyewear and retail industries.
• Clear, effective communicator who can simplify technical terms for customers.
• Dedicated to going above-and-beyond to make customers and teammates happy.
• Energetic, positive team player in a fast-paced environment.
• Extremely detail-oriented with ability to juggle many tasks.
• Open-minded and always learning, never too serious about oneself.
• Not on the LEIE list.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to meet eyewear needs.
• Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with accuracy.
• Ensure finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requests.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Collaborate with team to ensure exceptional service for all customers.
• Help customers choose frames and lenses based on prescription, fit, style, and lifestyle.
• Participate in developing best practices for sales and customer service.
