Job summary

AEG Vision is seeking an Optician to provide expert eyewear solutions and exceptional patient care. You will assist patients in selecting frames and lenses, ensure accurate measurements, and dispense eyewear with quality and accuracy.

Responsibilities include interpreting prescriptions, updating the EHR, and maintaining patient satisfaction through clear communication and detailed service. Strong customer service and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High School or GED qualification.
• ABO/NCLE preferred but not required.
• Minimum of one-year experience working as an Optician strongly preferred.
• Experience with HIPAA requirements preferred.
• PC skills to include MS Office, Windows, and Word Processing.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in selecting eyewear and accessories that fit prescription, lifestyle and style.
• Enter prescription information into the EHR/ALE system and ensure documentation.
• Dispense glasses, adjust fit, and provide eyewear maintenance and care instructions.
• Provide excellent customer service and educate patients on warranties, coverage, and upgrades.
