Job summary

AEG Vision is hiring an Optician in Weatherford, TX. You will provide expert eyewear solutions, fit frames, dispense lenses, and deliver exceptional patient care. You will translate prescriptions into customized eyewear, ensure accuracy, and maintain patient satisfaction.

The role requires strong customer service, attention to detail, and familiarity with frame and lens options. ABO/NCLE preferred but not required; training available. Full-time with benefits included.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Attention to detail in measuring and fitting eyewear.
• Experience in sales or upselling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in selecting eyewear and accessories that fit prescription and lifestyle.
• Ensure proper frame fit, accurate measurements, and correct lens dispensing.
• Educate patients on lens options, coatings, and care; process prescriptions in the EHR.
