Job summary

AEG Vision in Abilene, TX is seeking an Optician to provide expert eyewear solutions and exceptional patient care. You will assist patients in selecting frames and lenses that fit prescription, lifestyle, and style, ensuring accurate measurements and proper lens dispensing.

You will stay current on products, explain insurance benefits, and manage orders from intake to completion, delivering a superior patient experience with attention to detail and teamwork in a on-site environment.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required or equivalent.
• ABO/NCLE preferred but not required.
• Experience as an Optician is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in selecting frames, lenses, and coatings.
• Explain insurance benefits and process orders from intake to completion.
• Maintain accuracy of prescriptions and ensure proper lens dispensing.
