Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking licensed dispensing opticians to deliver exceptional service, take accurate measurements, and ensure eyewear meets standards and customer needs. You’ll explain prescriptions clearly, assist with frame selection, and collaborate with the team to uphold our brand values.

Ideal candidates are licensed or ABO-certified, passionate about eyewear, detail-oriented, and capable of adapting in a fast-paced retail environment while keeping customers happy.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician in states requiring license, or ABO-certified in non-licensing states.
• Passionate about eyewear and retail with strong communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to explain technical terms clearly to customers.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers to meet eyewear needs and take measurements for fit.
• Adjust and fit eyewear with accuracy and verify against standards.
• Explain prescription terms and product options to customers.
• Collaborate with team to deliver exceptional service and best practices.
• Help customers choose frames/lenses based on prescription, face, and lifestyle.
• Represent Warby Parker values and educate customers about the brand.
