Job summary

VSP Vision is seeking an eyewear professional to assist patients with frame selection, adjustments, and dispensing eyewear while delivering the highest level of service. The role emphasizes accuracy in pricing, timely quotes, and clear patient communication within a collaborative team.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in a related field, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

One to two years of experience in related field.
Working knowledge of MS Office package.
Demonstrated ability to successfully perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Effective verbal communication skills to prioritize multiple tasks.
Effective written communication skills to clearly document customer situations.

Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional customer service, fostering customer retention and patient satisfaction.
Greet and assist customers in the selection of frames.
Assist patients with adjustments, troubleshooting, and dispensing eyewear.
Ensure correct pricing and realistic delivery time quotes; contact patients to dispense glasses.
Communicate clearly to meet patient expectations and collaborate with team.
Clean and merchandise displays daily; maintain effective merchandise.
Assist with insurance billing and processing orders.
Document all patient communication in the practice software system.
Work on special projects and cross-train in different departments.
