AEG Vision in North Huntingdon (Your Family Eye Doctor) is seeking an Optician to provide expert eyewear solutions and exceptional patient care. You will help patients select frames, lenses, and treatments, ensure precise measurements and proper fit, and maintain high service standards.

You will educate patients on insurance coverage, processing prescriptions, and coordinating with technicians and doctors to fulfill orders from intake to delivery.

Qualifikationen

• High School or GED qualification.
• ABO/NCLE preferred but not required.
• Minimum of one-year experience working as an Optician strongly preferred.
• Experience with HIPAA requirements preferred.
• PC skills to include MS Office, Windows, and Word Processing.

Aufgaben

• Delivers extraordinary experience to each patient and explains customized recommendations.
• Assist patients in selecting frames, lenses, and treatments based on lifestyle and prescription.
• Take measurements, ensure proper frame fit, and dispense lenses with quality checks.
• Enter prescription data into the EHR/ALE system and update patients on order status.
• Educate patients on insurance benefits, warranties, and replacement options.
• Coordinate with technicians and managers to resolve order issues and ensure timely delivery.
