Job summary

AEG Vision is seeking an Optician to provide expert eyewear solutions and exceptional patient care in a patient-focused setting. You will help patients select frames, lenses, and treatments, ensuring optimal fit and satisfaction.

Responsibilities include interpreting prescriptions, entering data into the EHR, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of products, insurance, and service options. Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• ABO/NCLE certification preferred but not required.
• Experience as an Optician is strongly preferred and HIPAA knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding patient experiences by recommending eyewear and services.
• Assist patients in frame, lens, and treatment selection based on prescription and lifestyle.
• Maintain knowledge of products, rebates, lens types, and frame options.
