Job summary

EyeCare Partners is seeking an Optical Technician to deliver a world-class Total Patient Experience, dispensing glasses and contacts from ophthalmic prescriptions. You will assist patients in frame selection, measure facial features, and operate lensometry equipment to ensure accurate eyewear fulfillment.

The role emphasizes patient service, retail sales support, and collaboration with optometrists and ophthalmologists to meet medical needs.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum in a role interacting with customers/patients
• Experience in a medical/ophthalmic setting preferred
• ABO/NCLE certifications preferred but not required
• Must be eligible to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Embrace and execute our Total Patient Experience to build relationships with patients while delivering medical support
• Assist patients in selecting frames according to style and measurements
• Operate auto-lensometer and manual lensometer
• Educate and recommend lenses, coatings and frames to suit patient needs
• Dispense glasses and contact lens orders and repair frames
