Clarkson Eyecare in Wildwood, MO is seeking an Optical Technician to dispense eyeglasses and contacts, assist with frame selection, and take precise measurements from prescriptions written by eye care professionals. You will contribute to a world-class Total Patient Experience and help patients find eyewear that fits their style and medical needs.

Responsibilities include operating lensometers, confirming measurements like pupillary distance, maintaining inventory, and providing courteous

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year customer/patient interaction experience.
• Medical office experience preferred; ophthalmic experience strongly preferred.
• ABO/ABOC/NCLE certifications preferred, but not required.
• Must pass background check and provide proof of identity/work eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Total Patient Experience while supporting medical needs.
• Assist patients in selecting frames and take measurements.
• Operate lensometers and dispense glasses/contacts.
• Maintain frame inventory and follow office protocols.
• Provide general office support as needed.
