Clarkson Eyecare in Chesterfield, MO is seeking an Eyewear Associate (Optical Technician) to dispense glasses and contacts, assist patients with frame choices, and support clinicians with measurements and lens selections. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, plus experience or certifications in ABO/ABOC and NCLE if available.

You will help deliver the Total Patient Experience, operate lensometry equipment, and ensure accurate orders in E360 while maintaining a welcoming office

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous medical office experience preferred; ophthalmic experience strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year in a role interacting with customers/patients or the equivalent education/experience.
• ABO/ABOC and NCLE certifications (preferred), but not required.

Mansioni

• Deliver Total Patient Experience while providing great medical support to patients.
• Assist patients in selecting frames according to style, facial measurements and prescriptions.
• Operate the auto-lensometer and manual lensometer to ensure accurate measurements.
• Dispense glasses and contacts in the E360 system and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow all policies and procedures.
