EyeCare Partners seeks an Optical Technician to deliver a world class Total Patient Experience, dispensing and fitting glasses and contacts from prescriptions written by ophthalmic professionals. The role connects patient needs to available products and services, enhancing retail sales while supporting medical needs.

The position requires working in a clinical/office setting, with duties ranging from frame selection to lens technology education, measurement taking, and order dispensing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a role interacting with customers/patients or equivalent education/experience
• Prior medical office experience preferred; ophthalmic experience strongly preferred
• Background check as required by state
• Must provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Deliver Total Patient Experience while providing medical support to patients
• Determine patient needs and sell to exceed expectations
• Assist patients in selecting frames based on style, color, and measurements
• Operate auto-lensometer and manual lensometer
• Educate and recommend lenses, coatings, and frames to suit patient needs
• Dispense glasses and contact lens orders and adjust frames
