Warby Parker in California is seeking an Optical Supervisor to join our team of in-house optical professionals. You will rely on your optical prowess, friendly demeanor, and product expertise to create exceptional customer experiences.

As a keyholder, you will help open/close operations and lead the Optical team with enthusiasm and a focus on learning and growth. You will mentor staff, ensure accurate fittings, and maintain store systems while promoting a positive work culture.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician with 2+ years of experience, including supervisor responsibilities.
• ABO-certified optician in non-licensing states or equivalent credentials.

Responsibilities

• Meet eyewear needs, take measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with accuracy.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Set store up for success by ensuring operational, service, and staff zoning procedures are executed to standard.
• Lead and mentor the Optical team, including participants in the Optician Apprentice Program.
• Maintain store systems, inventory databases, and general business operations.
• Foster a productive, positive employee culture in the store.
