Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking an Optical Supervisor for the Third Ward store to lead the Optical team and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will open/close the store as a keyholder and guide both staff and customers with expert eyewear knowledge.

The ideal candidate is a licensed dispensing optician with at least 2 years of supervisory experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for eyewear and retail excellence.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to meet eyewear needs.
• Take and record measurements, adjust eyewear with accuracy.
• Ensure finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requests.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Set store up for success by executing operational procedures.
• Lead and mentor Optical team, including Optician Apprentice Program participants.
• Maintain store systems, inventory databases, and business operations.
• Foster a productive, positive employee culture.
