Warby Parker is opening a new store and seeking an Optical Supervisor to lead our in-house optical team. You will leverage optical expertise, customer-focused service, and product knowledge to create exceptional experiences for new and loyal customers, while opening/closing duties and internal operations as a keyholder.

The ideal candidate is energetic, a self-starter, and eager to help Warby Parker grow. You’ll guide opticians and retail advisors, maintaining high standards for eyewear quality

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician with 2+ years of experience including supervisor responsibilities.
• ABO-certified optician in non-licensing states.
• Passionate about eyewear and retail.
• Clear, effective communication; ability to explain terms to customers.
• Detail-oriented, adaptable team player; maintains professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Provide optical duties: meet eyewear needs, take measurements, fit eyewear with accuracy; ensure eyewear meets standards and customer requests; explain prescription terminology.
• Lead store operations: set daily store up for success, manage service and staff zoning to Warby Parker standards, be main contact for customer and operational questions.
• Mentor Optical team including Optician Apprentice Program participants; maintain store systems and inventory.
• Foster productive, positive employee culture and support the team.
