Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking an Optical Supervisor to lead a team of opticians and retail advisors. You will open/close the store as a keyholder, drive patient-centered service, and ensure accuracy in eyewear measurements and fittings.

The role requires a licensed dispensing optician or ABO-certified optician with 2+ years of supervisory experience, strong communication, and a passion for eyewear. This is a full-time on-site position in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed dispensing optician or ABO-certified optician with 2+ years of experience, including supervision.
• Strong customer service and communication skills; comfortable explaining prescription terminology.
• Detail-oriented and capable of managing store operations and mentoring staff.
• Licensed in applicable states; not on LEIE.

Responsibilities

• Meet customers' eyewear needs, take and record measurements, and fit eyewear with accuracy.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Lead store operations, mentor optical team, and ensure service standards.
• Maintain inventory databases and store systems, and support general operations.
• Foster a positive, productive employee culture in the store.
