Job summary

America’s Best, part of National Vision, is seeking a General Manager to lead a busy optical store in Woodbridge, VA. You’ll drive sales, manage operations, coach a team, and partner with the Doctor to deliver outstanding patient care.

You’ll oversee staffing, inventories, budgets, training, and audits, while maintaining high service standards and a positive work environment. The role rewards performance with competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of retail experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Knowledge of the optical industry preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and build strong associate relationships.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily store operations including staffing and inventory.
• Lead, train, and develop associates through coaching.
• Monitor store performance and drive sales and service excellence.
• Partner with the Doctor to ensure patient care.
• Conduct audits and uphold quality and service standards.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and store reporting.
• Recruit, hire, and retain top talent.
