Eyeglass World is hiring an Optical Specialist to enhance the in-store experience with confident service, precise finishing, and eye care support. You will assist customers in selecting eyewear, performing final fittings, and ensuring high-quality handoffs at pickup.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ year experience in optical, retail, sales, or customer service is required.
• Strong multitasking, time management and organizational skills are required.
• Clear communication and the ability to educate customers effectively are required.
• Ability to prioritize customer satisfaction at every interaction is required.
• Bilingual abilities are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, confident, and personalized service at every stage of the visit.
• Guide customers through eyewear selection, final fitting, and product education.
• Ensure customers leave confident in their eyewear and experience.
• Assist with patient flow and pre-exam screenings to support Optometrists.
• Support smooth transitions between exam, finish, and pickup moments.
• Perform finishing work including final adjustments and quality checks.
• Prepare orders for pickup and deliver polished, brand-aligned handoff.
• Maintain organized, clean finish and retail areas and resolve issues proactively.
