Job summary

Eyeglass World in-store position seeks an Optical Specialist who delivers warm, personalized service from selection to pickup. You will assist with patient flow and ensure smooth transitions between exam, finish, and handoff, while maintaining brand standards.

The role emphasizes finishing accuracy, customer education, and teamwork within the store. 1+ year experience in optical, retail, or customer service is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, confident, and personalized service at every stage of the visit
• Guide customers through eyewear selection, final fitting, and product education
• Ensure customers leave feeling confident in both their eyewear and their experience
• Assist with patient flow and pre exam screenings to support Optometrists
• Help ensure smooth transitions between exam, finish, and pickup moments
• Serve as a calm, knowledgeable presence throughout the customer journey
• Perform finishing work including final adjustments, inspections and quality checks
• Prepare orders for pickup and deliver polished, brand aligned handoff
• Model Eyeglass World service standards in every interaction
• Uphold visual, experiential, and operational brand standards in the store
