Job summary

Eyeglass World is seeking an Optical Specialist to provide warm, confident service in-store. You will guide customers through eyewear selection, ensure precise fittings, and prepare orders for pickup with a brand-aligned finish.

This role supports optometrists, maintains quality, and highlights product education while upholding Eyeglass World standards and a seamless customer journey.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year experience in optical, retail, sales or customer service preferred.
• Strong multitasking, time management and organizational skills; ability to educate customers effectively.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, confident, and personalized service at every stage of the visit.
• Guide customers through eyewear selection, final fitting, and product education.
• Ensure customers leave feeling confident in their eyewear and experience.
• Assist with patient flow and pre-exam screenings to support Optometrists.
• Facilitate smooth transitions between exam, finish, and pickup moments.
• Perform finishing work including final adjustments, inspections and quality checks.
• Prepare orders for pickup and deliver polished, brand-aligned handoff.
• Model Eyeglass World service standards and uphold brand consistency in-store.
