Eyeglass World in-store Optical Specialist is a customer-facing role at the heart of the Eyeglass World experience. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ year experience in optical, retail, sales, or customer service.
• Active dispensing license as required by state.
• Strong multitasking, time management, and organizational skills.
• Clear communication and the ability to educate customers effectively.
• Ability to prioritize customer satisfaction at every interaction.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, confident, and personalized service at every stage of the visit.
• Guide customers through eyewear selection, final fitting, and product education.
• Ensure customers leave feeling confident in both their eyewear and their experience.
• Assist with patient flow and pre-exam support to help Optometrists.
• Prepare orders for pickup and deliver polished, brand-aligned handoffs.
