Job summary

Eyeglass World is seeking an Optical Specialist to deliver warm, confident service and assist customers from pre-exam support to eyewear readiness, fitting, and pickup. You will ensure each interaction is seamless, elevating the customer experience with attention to detail and brand-driven care.

This role supports in-store flow, teaches customers about eyewear choices, and upholds Eyeglass World standards. A High School diploma is required and 1+ year in optical or retail is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ year experience in optical, retail, sales, or customer service (Required).
• Strong multitasking, time management and organizational skills (Required).
• Clear communication and the ability to educate customers effectively (Required).
• Ability to prioritize customer satisfaction at every interaction (Required).
• Bilingual abilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create an exceptional customer experience at every stage of the visit.
• Support clinical and in-store flow, assisting with patient flow and pre-exam screenings when needed.
• Own finish and quality excellence with inspections and precise eyewear presentation.
• Operate with precision and care, maintaining organized finish and retail areas.
• Bring the Eyeglass World brand to life through service standards and brand alignment.
