Job summary

Sam's Club is seeking an Optical Services associate to maintain the Optical area, stock merchandise, and assist members with eyewear decisions. You will measure pupillary distance, verify prescriptions, and support frame and lens fitting, repairs, and final inspections.

The role includes processing orders and payments, guiding customers through purchases, and ensuring accurate signage and documentation while upholding HIPAA and company standards.

Qualifications

• Retail or optical experience preferred.
• Ability to measure pupillary distance and interpret prescription information.
• Comfort handling eyewear repairs and adjustments.

Responsibilities

• Stock merchandise and maintain displays in the Optical area.
• Assist members with eyewear purchases and frame/lens adjustments.
• Process eyewear orders and handle payments, returns, and exchanges via the POS system.
• Ensure proper signing, pricing, and compliance with company procedures.
• Educate members on eyewear usage and care, including contact lens guidance.
