Job summary

Sam's Club in Kannapolis, NC, is seeking an Optical Associate to assist Members with eyewear decisions, manage the Optical area, and process purchases at the cashier. You will help measure, adjust, and repair frames and lenses, handle documentation, and ensure accurate pricing and display standards.

The role includes maintaining stock in the Optical department, supporting returns and claims, and working as part of a team to deliver excellent member experiences in a fast-paced retail setting.

Responsibilities

• Provides Member service by acknowledging and identifying their needs, assisting with purchasing decisions and promoting products and services.
• Maintains merchandise presentation by stocking, cleaning, organizing displays and pricing merchandise.
• Operates cash registers, processes member purchases, and handles payments, returns, and exchanges.
• Sells optical products and services by assisting Members with frames and lenses, completing orders and paperwork.
• Maintains the Optical area following company procedures and handles claims, returns, shrink.
