Job summary

EyeCare Partners in Frisco TX is seeking an Optical Technician/Sales Associate to deliver a world-class Total Patient Experience, dispensing glasses and contacts from ophthalmologists' prescriptions, and connecting patient needs with available eyewear.

The role requires prior customer/patient interaction experience, ability to measure and fit frames, operate lensometry equipment, and educate patients on lenses and coatings. This on-site position offers growth within a national eye care network.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum in a role interacting with customers or patients
• Experience in a medical/optical office preferred
• Background check must be favorable
• Must provide identity and right to work in United States

Responsibilities

• Build patient relationships while delivering medical support
• Assist patients in selecting frames according to style and measurements
• Operate auto-lensometer and manual lensometer
• Educate on lenses and coatings to meet patient needs
• Dispense glasses and contact lens orders per current process
• Take measurements like bridge, eye size, PD, pantoscopic tilt
