Job summary

Target Optical in Minnesota is seeking an Assistant Manager to help deliver the Target Optical Way and exceptional guest experiences. You will partner with the Store Manager to drive profitability and lead the team in creating a fashionable, in-store experience.

The role requires strong leadership, ongoing coaching, and a focus on results, while ensuring adherence to policies and promotions. ABO certification is preferred and 2+ years in retail or customer service is expected.

Responsibilities

• Partners with the Optical Store Manager to build plans to deliver profitable store sales.
• Delivers the daily sales goal by flawless execution of WOW! Guest Experience behaviors.
• Ensures, influences and inspires the team to deliver a simple, fun and in-style fashion experience by modeling the Target Optical Way.
• Provides floor leadership to ensure guests receive a best in class experience with guidance to team members.
• Creates, lives and teaches the culture to build brand awareness by attracting new guests daily.
• Supports the Optical Store Manager with professional partnerships with the Target Optical doctor and Target Host.
• Proactively recruits, interviews, trains, develops, motivates and retains Brand right Optical Team Members.
• Supports Store Manager with Team Member accountability by providing Coaching and Development to deliver WOW! Guest Experience.
