Job summary

Target Optical in Minnesota seeks a customer-focused Optician to drive a WOW experience. You will guide customers through selecting eyewear, perform measurements, and ensure accurate fitting and service.

Basically, you’ll operate the POS, process payments, and maintain store standards while educating customers on guarantees and services. This role focuses on eye care value and fashion together.

Qualifications

• State licensure (if applicable) and ABO Certification in non-licensed states.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of optical theory and merchandise.
• Knowledge of inventory management systems.
• Strong communicator and listener.
• Awareness of fashion trends.
• Sales skills to use IPAD/tablet.
• Comfortable with technology to engage patients, customers and associates.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service using our sales process.
• Support problem solving and troubleshooting for customers.
• Engage patients and customers with our technology to support experiences.
• Lead in customer service tone at the location.
• Operate the Point of Sale terminal with accuracy and proper payments.
