Job summary

Stanton Optical is seeking a Doctor’s Technician to welcome patients, facilitate flow between clinical services and retail teams, and deliver outstanding customer service while supporting sales goals.

This role requires strong communication, multitasking, and a team-oriented mindset to ensure accurate order processing, appointments, and prompt eyeglasses delivery at an on-site store. The team offers growth and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or advanced certification beyond a high school diploma or currently enrolled in a comparable program.
• 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients and/or customers.
• Effective communication with a diverse group of people.
• Active listening, ability to build rapport, and demonstrate empathy with patients.
• Proactive problem solving and ability to address concerns or objections.
• Collaborative spirit with teams and a results-driven mindset.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to changing business needs in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers entering the store and identify needs to ensure a memorable experience while promoting products and services.
• Foster partnership between retail and professional services.
• Schedule appointments, collect patient history, and perform pre-tests and basic eye exams as required.
• Assist management with patient issue resolution and communicate status of orders.
• Maintain brand standards and perform housekeeping as needed.
• Assist with lab tasks including edging lenses and ensuring timely delivery of eyewear.
• Monitor lab quality and report equipment issues or order discrepancies to management.
• Track delivery times to ensure 100% on-time delivery.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
