Job summary

Walman Optical, a division of EssilorLuxottica, is seeking an Associate Technician for its lab production team. You will set up, operate and maintain equipment in surface or finish areas, ensuring daily tasks are completed safely and accurately.

Your duties include interpreting Rx work tickets, performing calibrations, cleaning, preparing solutions and assisting with training of less experienced staff. This is a full-time role emphasizing safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Ability to multi-task, orientation to detail and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic high school level math skills required.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain equipment within the lab production area.
• Interpret Rx work tickets and perform production operations per procedures.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibrations of equipment as directed.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and advise supervisor on remedies.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety rules.
