Job summary

EssilorLuxottica’s Walman Optical division in Las Vegas seeks an Associate Technician to operate and maintain lab equipment in surface or finish areas, supporting production tasks and quality standards. You will interpret Rx tickets, perform daily calibrations, manage supplies, and collaborate with team members to ensure safe, efficient production and accurate lens fabrication.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a commitment to safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to multi-task, orientation to detail and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic high school level math skills required.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate production equipment in the assigned lab area.
• Interpret Rx work tickets and perform production tasks per procedures.
• Perform basic maintenance and daily/weekly calibration of equipment.
• Clean work area and ensure proper safety and policy compliance.
• Provide guidance to less experienced staff and contribute to team training.
